Traffic Sign Detector application is an ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) implementation for traffic sign recognition, which attempts to recognize a subset of the Vienna Convention traffic signs. This subset includes speed signs, stop, give way, forbidden traffic, take over signs, pedestrian crossing warnings and also some obligatory signs. The application uses the most recent OpenCV library for the image processing and uses Neural Networks to identify the detected traffic signs.
If connected with an OBD-II adapter, like common ELM327 Bluetooth adapter, will also allow to read the vehicle instant speed and will warn about possible excessive speed driving.
